The Omaha VA Medical Center, Omaha Nebraska, is seeking a Board Certified / Board Eligible Non-Invasive Cardiologist with additional training, certification and experience in Echocardiography and Heart Failure qualifications to join our VA Healthcare Team. Selected Physician will practice in both outpatient and inpatient direct care setting, and should demonstrate outstanding clinical cardiology skills and a passion for teaching and scholarship. Previous post-training academic experience and a history of publication in peer-reviewed cardiology journals is highly preferred. The Cardiology Section is able to perform coronary angiography, PCI, EP and all manner of echo procedures with state of the art echo equipment, and has three faculty who are able to interpret echoes and do TEE/stress echo/DSE. The Omaha VAMC, an acute care 100-bed tertiary care facility, providing inpatient, medical, surgical and psychiatric care in addition to its ambulatory care services and home to major clinical research programs, is academically affiliated with Creighton University School of Medicine.

Benefits and Features:
Expected Salary range for well qualified Cardiologist will be from $280,000.00 to 320,000.00 per year, with consideration given to candidate's qualifications, credentials and experience; and may include Recruitment Incentive of up to $35,000 per year and up to $15,000 Annual Performance Bonus, based on available facility funding
