HIGH LEVEL DISINFECTION (HLD) COORDINATOR - Temple University Hospital/40 hours days - (214937)
Works as a member of the Sterile Processing Department and is a subject matter expert with a primary focus on all ambulatory sites across Temple University Health System that perform High Level Disinfection (HLD). Implements education, quality assurance, and process improvement programs to ensure each office is using current industry standards. Provides oversight and coordination of departmental education programs that support learning and ongoing assessment. Develops and implements a standardized QA program focused on HLD activities across the health system. ( CER required within 1 year of hire)
Education Bachelors Degree (Required) Combination of relevant education and experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
Experience 5 Years experience in sterile processing and/or high-level disinfection in a complex health care setting (Required) 2 Years experience providing education and training (Preferred)
License/Certifications CRCST - Cert Reg Central Service Tech (Required) CER - Cert Endoscope Reprocessor (Required)
40 hours per week
