Overview
Northwest Permanente, P.C. is currently seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible Adult Psychiatrist to join our growing medical group. You will be a Cohort Lead for our Recovery Pathways program at one of our medical offices (Rockwood or Tanasbourne Medical office) when in clinic. Recovery Pathways is a team-based, ambulatory, co-occurring substance use and mental health disorder recovery service at Kaiser Permanente NW. This role will work virtually 2 days per week.
You will support a general adult psychiatry practice and work as a cohort lead for co-occurring disorders. This program provides a team-based approach to addiction and offers you dedicated time to this program, 2 days per week. The team includes 2 addiction specialty therapists (LCSW) and a peer (former recovered patient to be a mentor for patients that are currently struggling with addiction & concurrent mental health issues). Addiction-trained fellows are encouraged to apply as are general Adult Psychiatrists.
Our team uses a combination of face-to-face care and the latest virtual modalities to provide evidence-based, psychiatric treatments, including primary care consults, crisis interventions and medication consultation. Our onsite care model supports at least 50% virtual visits as well. It is preferred that applicants have experience with digital technologies (examples include telehealth and/or digital health). If no direct experience, then you will need to demonstrate both flexibility and adaptability to incorporate these into your practice as we continue to evolve our virtual care model. A comfort level with concurrent documentation is also needed.
