JOB SUMMARYThe Cardiology Tech 2 is responsible for performing non-invasive, stat, pre-operative and outpatient EKG testing to support physicians in the delivery of patient care. Records electromotive variations in action of heart muscle by using electrocardiograph machine to provide data for diagnosis of heart ailments. May assist junior staff.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE ROLECompletes all necessary steps to acquire and process electrocardiograms and other tests.Explains test procedures to prepare patients for the process and to provide them with the necessary instructions.
