Optum New Mexico is seeking a Family Medicine Physician to join our team in beautiful Albuquerque, NM. At Optum, we are transforming healthcare nationally while providing Physician-led care locally.

Position Highlights

• Practice Primary Care to the full scope of your license!
• Clinic hours are Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm
• Minimal call time
• Patient rooms, office space and Medical Assistants will be ready for you on day one

Required Qualifications:

• Current MD/DO medical license in the state of New Mexico or ability to attain
• Board Certified in Family Medicine or in the process of obtaining certification
• New Mexico Pharmacy/DEA Registration if applicable to practice
• Full COVID-19 vaccination is an essential requirement of this role. Candidates located in states that mandate COVID-19 booster doses must also comply with those state requirements. UnitedHealth Group will adhere to all federal, state and local regulations as well as all client requirements and will obtain necessary proof of vaccination, and boosters when applicable, prior to employment to ensure compliance

Preferred Qualifications:

• Fluency in EMR systems & technology
• Experience in providing patient care under a Global Risk/Medicare Advantage Model
