Position Description
Children's Minnesota's Ear, Nose and Throat (ENT) and facial plastic surgery program diagnoses and treats routine and complex conditions in infants, children and teens. In fact, Children's has the only pediatric ENT program in the state dedicated exclusively to children with disorders of the head and neck.
This position will have the responsibility to provide quality patient care in an ambulatory setting and through triage messaging. The APP will predominately provide specialty ambulatory ENT care with occasional responsibilities to assist on inpatient rounds, consults and communicating with other hospital services.Provide assessment, diagnosis, treatment and education for primary ENT diagnosis.
This position will work closely with the ENT MD's and provide primary ENT care with supervision based on candidate's skill level including the goal of independent clinics.
License / Certification: Physician Assistant Certification by the NCCPA Certification Board and MN Medical Board license required. Pediatric Nurse Practitioner Certification, APRN and RN licensure per the MN Board of Nursing. Maintain current BLS certification
Education:Physician Assistant: Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistants program. Masters degree required.APRN: Graduate of an accredited Pediatric Nurse Practitioner Program. Master's Degree required.
Experience:At least 2 years pediatric advanced practice clinical experience preferred
