Position Summary
The Regional and Program Manager for MultiCare Ambulatory practices is a dual role responsible for both the delivery of business results and oversight of program development.
As a Regional Manager, they will have direct operational oversight and management of affiliated specialty ambulatory practices (including infusion centers where applicable) for MultiCare in their assigned area. This individual maintains specific responsibilities for business functions of ambulatory care including operations, marketing, finance, human resource management, regulatory compliance, quality and safety initiatives, service excellence, and project management. This individual partners closely with supervisory direct reports, careline administrator, medical directors, physicians, advanced practice providers, nursing leadership and clinic staff to create and realize vision for the culture and engagement of the ambulatory practices, requiring the development of rapport and professional relationships.
As a Program Manager, they will oversee the programâs accreditation, which include program and protocol development, patient flow, performance monitoring and improvement, community outreach, patient advocacy, as well as staff and physician education. The Program Manager strives to assure that all standards are met as required by the specialtyâs medical and nursing professional associations and meet the designation requirements of the accrediting organizations for all locations within their assigned area.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Nursing, or obtained within five (5) years from the initial date of hire; RN with 25+ years of service may be considered in lieu of education agreement
Advanced degree in Nursing (MSN, PhD, DNP, ARNP) preferred
Certification in applicable specialty
Minimum five (5) years of experience as a Registered Nurse with experience in applicable specialty and/or ambulatory operations
If program covers hospital-based clinics, minimum two (2) years in the development and management of hospital-based clinical programs preferred.
Current Washington State Drivers License; and proof of a safe driving record (which meets established MHS Standards) obtained by a motor vehicle report from the appropriate state
Consideration may be given to internal candidates not meeting the minimum qualifications

Pay and Benefit Expectations
We provide a comprehensive benefits package, including competitive salary, medical, dental and retirement benefits and paid time off. As required by various pay transparency laws, we share a competitive range of compensation for candidates hired into each position. The pay scale is $128,981.00 - $183,394.00 USD. However, pay is influenced by factors specific to applicants, including but not limited to: skill set, level of experience, and certification(s) and/or education. If this position is associated with a union contract, pay will be reflective of the appropriate step on the pay scale to which the applicantâs years of experience align.
