Parkview Health is actively seeking qualified Anesthesiologist Assistants to join their new and expanding program in Fort Wayne, Indiana.
Specifics of Your Role as an Anesthesiologist Assistant
- This position is full time with 4 10 hour shifts per week
- No nights & no call - excellent work/life balance!
- Overtime is available if desired
- This role will provide the opportunity to work on a wide variety of cases
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree
- Completed an Anesthesiologist Assistant (AA) program.
- Certified by the National Commission for the Certification of Anesthesiologist Assistants (NCCAA).
- Indiana State licensure.
- No experience necessary provided all licensing, certifications, and clinical hours were completed in the post-baccalaureate program.
- Strong communication skills. Respectful bedside manner.
- Participate in quality assurance activity and appropriate utilization of health care resources. Ability to work well within a team atmosphere while supporting system initiatives.
The Team
- This is a MD/AA Care Team Model that has experienced growth due to the success and expansion of the hospital system.
- Our team consists of 42 Anesthesiologists and 10 Anesthesiologist Assistants.
- The team cares for hundreds of patients each year in various specialty lines, including cardiovascular, orthopedic, trauma, general surgery, endoscopy, obstetric, pediatric, neurosurgery and more.
- We serve patients at Parkview Regional Medical Center, Parkview Randallia Hospital, Inverness Surgery Center and Parkview Wabash.
